Fisherman´s knot

It is used to connect two ropes, threads or strings of a similar diameter. When tied it holds well, after being loaded it can be untied better in comparison to the overhand bow. The direction of tying knots (the working end should direct from the knot) is very important, so the turns are set right next to each other. In practice, the double fisherman´s knot is used more, it holds better and does not untie when not loaded.
